fair trade

i want to do a swap. i keep hearing about people signed up for all these different swaps, and of course by the time i hear about them the swap is well underway. how do y'all find out about them beforehand? are there any coming up that sound good? i want mail! i want to send mail! i make good care packages, dammit! :)
